Digital Asset Settlement · Article 15.3–15.4

How a crypto payment is settled

Digital-asset payments follow a fixed sequence so both Parties agree on the exact amount, destination, and finality before funds move.

Settlement Sequence

1Elect & designate. Choose a Supported Digital Asset on your Payment Election (Schedule D) and confirm the receiving wallet address in writing.
2Lock the Conversion Rate. H2H quotes a rate from the index source in Schedule D, fixed for the rate-lock window.
3Send within the window. The paying Party transfers the exact amount to the designated address before the lock expires.
4Confirm on-chain. Payment is treated as received only once it reaches H2H’s required block-confirmation count.
5Receipt issued. H2H issues a receipt recording the amount, Conversion Rate, transaction hash, and confirmations relied upon.

Indicative Settlement Rates

BTC Bitcoin$67,420.00 ▲ +1.18%
ETH Ethereum$3,512.60 ▲ +0.84%
USDC USD Coin$1.00 — 0.00%
USDT Tether USD$1.00 ▲ +0.01%

Reference rates only — the binding Conversion Rate is the one locked in writing for your specific transaction under Article 15.4.

Things to know before you choose a method

A payment counts as made only on final, irrevocable receipt of cleared funds or confirmed on-chain settlement — not on initiation (Article 15.2.1).
The paying Party covers its own bank, processor, or network fees unless otherwise agreed in writing (Article 15.2.2).
H2H may decline or delay a payment method to meet compliance or banking-partner requirements (Article 15.2.3).
Neither Party owes a true-up for crypto price movement after a Conversion Rate is locked (Article 15.4.4).
All amounts due under the Agreement remain denominated in the Reference Currency regardless of how they are paid (Article 15.4.1).
